Litigation Administrative Assistant Duties: Electronically files in several states â€“ For example, AZ, NM, NV. Maintains the calendar and enters time. Assists with expense reports and CLE documents. Prepares pleadings. Composes routine correspondence. Ensures that all documents (letters, motions, and pleadings) have been proofread, edited and revised as necessary. Maintains filing system. Responds to phone calls and emails in a professional manner. Corresponds with clients daily, by phone and email. Develops and maintains smooth working relationships with staff, attorneys and clients.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 5 yearsâ€™ litigation experience is essential. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Proven advanced knowledge of Office 2010 to include Word, Outlook and Excel knowledge. Able to handle a high volume desk and adjust to multiple demands, priorities and rapid change. Excellent knowledge of Arizona litigation procedures which includes efiling. Excellent proofing and editing skills as well as the ability to function independently and possess good follow through and attention to detail.
