Solo attorney with growing employee rights practice seeking to hire an associate attorney. The office handles employment-related matters of all types with a focus on cases involving claims of discrimination, equal pay, retaliation, harassment, and sexual assault. Most of your time will be spent on litigations in federal and state courts, administrative charges, and arbitrations. You will also have an opportunity to work on transactional matters such as employment contracts and severance agreements and to explore areas of the practice that are of particular interest to you.
This position will be a hybrid of remote and in-person work. Our office is located in midtown Manhattan.
The position is full-time, but will consider part-time for the right candidate. There are no minimum billable hour requirements and work-life balance will be respected. However, longer than usual hours will sometimes be necessary to meet court deadlines or for hearings and trials.
Expected base salary range for the position is $90,000 to $110,000. There will also be opportunities to enhance your income by originating cases as well as a discretionary bonus.
