In-House Technical Trainer The candidate will conduct technology related training and orientation for all new hires. Instruction may include live classroom training, web or video conference training or one on one desk-side training; maintain an understanding of Firm's business processes and workflow; create and maintain all required user documentation, quick reference guides, instructional videos and publish reference materials on an ongoing bases and saves user guides in the shared document workspace; ability to adapt content to the target audience; promote the Firm's learning initiatives and best practices; answer and troubleshoot questions, including desk side assistance, ability to remote to users and assist with document/spreadsheet issues, help desk support as needed; partner with internal Firm managers regarding employee development needs; ability to adapt quickly to new applications and technologies; posses strong organization and analytical skills with the ability to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities, whether working independently or in a team situation; maintain the technology section of the Firm's intranet site. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, including the patience, tact and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical staff. Must have the ability to quickly learn new applications and upgrades to existing applications. Must possess strong classroom facilitation skills. Must have a proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, train, monitor and evaluate). Must be flexible and able to work in a team environment. Must have a solid understanding and experience in: planning training course, developing materials, researching best practices and creating training videos. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must have 3-5 years' experience as a computer applications trainer in a corporate or law firm environment.
