New York City office of our law firm client seeks entertainment attorney with 4-7 years of legal experience. The candidate will be responsible for structuring, reviewing, drafting and negotiating transactions primarily in the film, television and new media industries. Will draft, review and negotiate a variety of entertainment agreements, including production services, talent, digital rights, content acquisition and other similar agreements. Represent clients in negotiating deal terms in a range of matters. Perform first-rate legal research and use it effectively to forward client goals. Prepare documents with precision and accuracy as if the first draft is the last. Coordinate, collaborate with and support other attorneys of the firm. Delegate effectively to and supervise other associates, paralegals and legal assistants. Problem solve and think creatively. Experience in the areas of transactional entertainment law, media and technology or other relevant experience is required. General corporate experience is desired. Must be admitted to practice in New York.
