# Job Title: Collateral Services Manager III ## Job Description The National Collateral Management Group (NCMG) is responsible for managing the deposit account collateralization requirements of JPMorgan Chase Bank and its customers as required by federal, state, and local regulations. NCMG manages collateral in excess of $40 billion consisting primarily of U.S. Government Treasury Securities, Agencies, Mortgage Backed Securities and Federal Home Loan Bank Letters of Credit - all of which secure deposit account balances and other obligations. Multiple lines of business (LOB) are supported by NCMG - primarily the Commercial Banking (CB) and Community & Consumer Banking (CCB). This role will be focused upon the key tenants of Wholesale Lending Services (WLS), Collateral, Documentation and Insurance (CD&I) Group, as it relates to NCMG; End-to-End Workflow, Collateral Completeness and Digital Experience. This role ensures that the NCMG strategy is aligned to support our LOB partners, clients and WLS’s framework and goals. The role requires developing strong internal partnerships with the technology support team, LOB supported as well as other internal support teams such as Compliance, Audit, Risk and Legal and NCMG. The position requires a consultative, visionary, influential, risk and results focused leader with technology subject matter expertise and proven ability to work effectively in a business critical environment. ## Core Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the Collateral Services Manager III include, but are not limited to: * Managing projects and/or processes to deliver business results * Focusing on the key issues and driving initiatives to conclusion * Managing multiple priorities * Developing a plan and driving substantial systems/applications release management and automation projects * Setting the tone of innovation and development, providing an exceptional customer experience and a dynamic, engaging culture * Demonstrating knowledge of managing end-to-end workflow processes and incorporating such skills into the team workflow process * Making independent decisions, exercising autonomy and sound judgement * Leading, challenging and adapting in a changing business landscape * Using existing reporting for analysis and team measures, identifying opportunities to improve workflow processes * Leading the development of the NCMG systems book of work * Influencing and driving key aspects of the business/function * Communicating effectively, both in writing and orally, to multiple levels of management, business partners, agent banks, and clients * Establishing strong relationships, partnership and negotiation skills * Researching, documenting and maintaining Federal, State and other regulatory requirements that apply to business unit, raising updates with Legal and Management and ensuring procedures impacted by requirements are addressed if/as necessary * Providing back-up production support to operation supporting roles as necessary * May manage direct reports or the work of others * Facilitating meetings (with representatives, as appropriate, from line of business, Legal, Compliance, Client, Safekeeping Agent) when questions arise * Leading or participating in partner meetings with business partners, clients, technology * Working with team members, bankers and other internal partners to identify client needs, relay team initiatives, and providing training if/as necessary * Promoting a strong control environment to evaluate, manage and conduct new and existing business opportunities to risk/control expectations, procedures and processes ## Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Collateral Services Manager III role will have: * Commercial Banking knowledge * * Ability to work collaboratively and build consensus * Ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven, environment * Demonstrated initiative in understanding a complex process environment, and ability to apply continuous improvement process re-visioning to surface process improvements and efficiency enhancements * Strong organizational and time management skills * Strong analytical, planning, problem solving and strategic thinking skills * Critical Thinking: * Leveraging business knowledge and/or technical expertise to help solve problems and improve business results. Qualification and Experience

Bachelors, Masters or advanced degree in finance, operations or business administration, with a law degree a significant plus
