The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK) seeks a Staff Attorney to engage in cutting-edge legal and policy advocacy to bring an end to tobacco-related disease, the nation’s leading cause of preventable death. The Campaign is the leading policy advocacy organization devoted primarily to countering the lethal influence of the tobacco industry on public policy. Based in Washington, D.C. and reporting to the Vice President for Legal and Regulatory Affairs, the Staff Attorney will provide legal and policy support for regulation of the tobacco industry, including e-cigarettes, by the Food and Drug Administration, as well as state and local tobacco control efforts. The Staff Attorney will participate in high-profile litigation in support of CTFK public health objectives, including the preparation of amicus briefs. 3-5 years of legal experience, including litigation experience, is required.
