Advisory-Center-Trust-Advisor,-Private-Wealth-Management The candidate will directly administer all types of Private Wealth Management (PWM) Trust accounts including personal trusts, special needs trusts, investment management, custodial and guardianship accounts. Manage a portfolio of varying accounts in levels of complexity and asset size. Conform to firm policies and procedures, applicable laws and the terms of the underlying documents (including Reg 9, Sarbanes Oxley/Anti-money Laundering). Understand and is conversant with financial and estate planning strategies and is able to understand and interpret legal and fiduciary documents. Partner with Client Advisors, Trust Consultants, Investment Portfolio Managers, Wealth Strategists, and external advisors to define and meet clients' tax, financial, estate planning, and banking goals and objectives. Ensure trust administrative duties are completed including cash management, trouble shooting, and proper documentation of files and the InSite system. Meets or exceeds customer service standards. Initiates annual communication with trust clients in accordance with company standards. Identifies and sells additional bank products to better meet the client’s needs. Conducts annual Reg-9 reviews and coordinates tax matters for assigned accounts including 1099s, 1041s, and others as appropriate.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have an undergraduate degree in Fiduciary Administration. Working towards or possess an advanced degree or certification (e.g. JD, MBA, CFP, CPA, or CTFA). 10+ years experience as a relationship manager in the Fiduciary Services, Private Wealth, or Institutional Investment Management industry with 5+ years in Trust Administration. 10+ of STI Trust Administration experience preferred. Experience working with investment products. Strong knowledge of estate planning, fiduciary and tax laws. Strong analytical skills including legal document interpretation skills. Deposit/general banking knowledge to effectively coordinate the delivery of a wide variety of bank products. Very knowledgeable of banking and trust systems. Intermediate or advanced PC skills including standard Microsoft Office products and database applications. Demonstrated organization skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate complex information clearly to clients and internal partners.
