Legal Office Assistant Duties: Perform complex clerical duties. Answer multi-line telephones and appropriately respond to inquiries and transfer calls. Greet and assist visitors. Uses independent judgment in resolving difficult situations. Perform basic office functions. Process legal documents in compliance with AGO guidelines and procedures. Coordinate maintains and uses calendaring software for scheduling conference room and vehicle reservations. Process incoming and outgoing . mail, UPS mail, and FedEx mail. Scan Incoming mail and delivers mail to each division. Independently perform a large variety of functions in response to work requests from 14 divisions within the Seattle office. Use of multi-function device, color multi-function device, mail machine, fax machine, Velo binder, comb binder, audio/video equipment, etc. Perform audio/visual scheduling. Maintain knowledge of Seattle Office Security procedures and acts as Floor Warden.

Qualification and Experience Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of clerical experience including 6 months of experience in a legal office environment OR 1 year of legal office experience OR a combination of 2 years of college education and/or relevant experience OR a two-year degree in Legal Secretary Studies, Paralegal Studies or related field of study.
