Litigation Paralegal The candidate will utilize litigation support software and databases, to manage, review, tag, and index electronic documents, often in large volumes. Assist attorneys in collecting, processing and organizing e-discovery from clients and opposing parties. Index materials from document production; participate in document production either on firm premises or off-site as directed by supervising attorney. Locate and instruct vendors with respect to document production such as scanning, copying, DVD/CD creation, exhibit preparation, load file creation, etc. Review documents based on standards set by attorneys, such as relevance, confidentiality and attorney-client privilege. Handle bates labeling of documents. Assist during case trial, including controlling / tracking exhibits, and running presentations. Establish, organize, and maintain master chronology of case documents. Conduct research and locate relevant cases, statutes, precedents, depositions, opinions, reports and information related to the matter, with a specific focus on discovery related issues. Pull relevant documents, proofread documents, organize exhibits and create document indices in the preparation of motion filing. Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 5+ years of eDiscovery experience desired, or equivalent combination of education and closely related experience is essential. Must be proficient in eDiscovery document database tools and other software platforms. Preference for those with a certification in eDiscovery or eDiscovery software platform.
