Internship, fall 2019
The intern reports to the Director of the National Crime Victim Bar Association (NCVBA), an affiliate of the National Center. Summarizing and annotating reported opinions for the Civil Justice Database (a collection of over 12,000 reported opinions related to civil litigation arising out of criminal acts). Summarizing and posting pleadings, motions, amicus briefs, and other legal documents. Conducting intake for the NCVBA Attorney Referral Service by calling crime victims who are seeking civil representation and conducting intake. Must be Law school student. Excellent writing skills required. Must have working knowledge of, or strong interest in, tort law issues.
