Law School Ministry Specialist - Boston, MA The candidate will meet regularly with the Boston GFM team, assist in creating and implementing Boston-wide programs, and raise personal and ministry funds. Lead students and faculty â€“ individually and collectively â€“ through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences, so that they articulate and align their ministry activities around this vision. Designs and executes plans that accomplish the goals. (Structure). Leads change and progress by aligning resources, events, activities, teams, culture, etc. around the values and goals so that the ministry grows in influence and impact. (Structure). Demonstrates respect in professional relationships, complies with operational requirements, and contributes positively to the experiences and tasks of their teams. A Bachelorâ€™s degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus. A minimum of an Associateâ€™s degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college. 3+ years of experience with InterVarsity (or other equivalent work experience) is preferred. Must be able to build witnessing communities of law students and networks in and around the university contextâ€”with law students, attorneys, and InterVarsity ministry partners in the city. Candidates should be self-starters who demonstrate a passion for building witnessing communities, strong interpersonal skills, prior Christian leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate a dynamic relationship with the university and the legal academy. Theological education or a law degree would be an asset.
