ProfileContracts Administrator / Manager Responsibilities: Support the Company’s contract administration/management needs by working closely with in-house attorneys, internal departments, and external customers to assist with the drafting, review, negotiation, vetting, approval, execution, filing, tracking, and post-signing management of a wide variety of complex agreements. Serve as the point person to review, negotiate, and complete non-disclosure agreements and other routine contracts and documents. Manage the process of obtaining feedback and/or approval of non-standard terms and conditions from various internal departments. Serve as the primary person responsible for maintaining files and electronic records for all signed agreements. Summarize key contracts. Provide information and/or reports regarding various contractual obligations of the company when requested. Assist in-house attorneys with the development and maintenance of contract templates. Assist in-house attorneys with the continuous improvement and enforcement of company policies and procedures. Serve as the point person to arrange for the approval and processing of invoices from outside legal department vendors. Work closely with the Finance department to maintain accurate records and accruals for paid and pending legal department invoices. Provide information and/or reports regarding legal expenses when requested. Support other Legal Department operational tasks as needed.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Contracts professional certificate or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution is a plus. Notary Public certification or willing to become a Notary Public is a plus. 3+ years of contracts administration/management experience in a technology company. Public company experience preferred. Semiconductor industry experience a plus but not necessary. Demonstrated understanding of legal and contractual terms for a wide range of legal agreements. Demonstrated technical & business acumen. Must be able to understand the objectives and needs of business clients and present pragmatic solutions. Experience and/or understanding of negotiation strategies and practices. Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistently high quality work product. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage numerous projects under deadline in a fast-paced and demanding work environment. Must possess strong customer service values. Must be able to maintain the high reputation of the Legal Department as a customer service oriented team and valued partner to its internal clients. Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain productive relationships with internal groups. Must be a self-starter with demonstrated initiative and bias towards action. Willing to be adaptable and undertake new responsibilities as the needs of the department evolve. Familiarity with government contracting practices is a plus. Computer fluency in Microsoft Office applications. Team player that is accountable, adaptable, flexible, responsive, friendly, pragmatic, and possesses a “can-do” attitude.
