Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Partner to join its Wills, Trusts & Estates practice group in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position is ideal for an attorney with at least 8 years of experience in advanced estate planning, trust administration, asset protection, and probate matters. The successful candidate will manage a complex caseload, supervise associates, and collaborate with other attorneys on sophisticated planning strategies, while contributing to business development and firm advancement.

Duties:
- Provide advanced estate planning services, including the preparation of complex wills and trusts for individuals and families of all ages.
- Manage probate and trust administration matters.
- Advise on irrevocable trusts, educational trusts, and family asset protection strategies.
- Develop life insurance planning strategies using trusts and financing options.
- Facilitate the transfer of closely-held family businesses and other assets to children and grandchildren.
- Implement advanced gifting strategies using techniques such as GRATS, QPRTs, CRUTs, and CLATs.
- Resolve family disputes related to estates and trusts.
- Draft and advise on pre-nuptial agreements.
- Represent fiduciaries, beneficiaries, private foundations, and charitable entities in estate and trust matters.
- Supervise associates and professional staff within the practice group.
- Collaborate closely with other firm attorneys on cross-disciplinary matters.
- Perform administrative and management functions within the practice group.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate law.
- Proven track record in handling sophisticated estate planning and related legal matters.
- Strong business development skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience supervising and mentoring associates and staff.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other attorneys and firm departments.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma or eligibility to practice in Oklahoma.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of estate planning, trust administration, and asset protection strategies.
- Expertise in sophisticated tax and estate planning techniques (., GRATS, QPRTs, CRUTs, CLATs).
