Legal - Paralegal II - Mortgage Banking Litigation Responsibilities: Assist attorney with check requests. Review cases before it is closed and facilitate closing with the data quality team. Upload key pleadings, briefs and orders to the litigation matter management system. Monitor completion of fields that require attorney input. Prepare and review case checklists. Assist attorneys with data on Excel using vlook up, pivot tables and pie charts. Prepare power point slides for projects or assignments.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: College degree preferred, paralegal certificate a plus 3-5 years' paralegal experience including preparing legal documents Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Westlaw). Ability to monitor own workload to meet their work goals. Analytical thinker who is an independent self-starter. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle several projects simultaneously. Experience in legal research, summarizing documents and analysis of data. Excellent Organization Skills.
