Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience representing banks, commercial finance companies, private debt funds, and other lenders in various financing transactions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structuring, documenting, and closing asset-based, real estate, healthcare, and general middle-market financing transactions.

Duties:

• Represent banks, commercial finance companies, private debt funds, and other lenders in structuring, documenting, and closing financing transactions.
• Provide legal counsel on UCC Article 9 perfection provisions and mortgage/title insurance issues.
• Assist in loan workouts and restructurings as needed.
• Conducted legal research, drafted legal documents, and participated in negotiations.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance law, specifically representing lenders.
• Admission to practice as an attorney in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong understanding of asset-based, real estate, healthcare, and general middle-market financing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with loan workouts and restructurings is a plus.
