Job Overview: A law firm seeks a skilled Associate Attorney with at least one year of experience in complex litigation to join its team in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, exceptional writing skills, and a passion for handling challenging litigation matters. Experience in insurance or healthcare fraud is a plus. This role involves full participation in all aspects of litigation, including investigations and representation in both state and federal courts. Duties:

• Handle all aspects of investigation and litigation in state and federal courts.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel regarding case developments and strategies.
• Assist with the preparation of expert witnesses, discovery, and document production.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in complex litigation.
• Strong academic credentials with a focus on legal research and writing.
• Prior experience in insurance or healthcare fraud litigation is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Expertise in managing litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Ability to handle complex legal issues and develop strategic legal approaches.
