Real Estate Specialist The candidate will assist in developing and maintaining best practices for processing lease documents for new, existing or disposition leases in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains an efficient system for tracking lease documents and critical dates for new, existing and disposition leases. Works as a part of the collaborative Development Team. Prepares, distributes, follows up and tracks real estate documents. Prepares Power Point presentations. Schedules meetings and travel for Senior Leadership Processes and audits Rent Statements. Abstracts documents into the Essential Retail Information System -Lease Administration Database.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree and Real Estate Paralegal Certificate preferred. Must have 3+ years of experience working in a real estate law firm or real estate department. 3+ years of experience in lease auditing, abstracting leases, tracking critical dates. Experience with Essentials Retail Information System and/or Oracle software a plus Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Ability to independently examine/interpret Real Estate Contracts and Leases. Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and follow up. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Strong customer service skills essential.
