Contracts Paralegal The candidate will support the legal department by providing contract drafting support; contract administration; legal research and analysis; contract database management and maintenance. Will assist General Counsel in a variety of Legal and Business efforts. Develop and maintain department contract files and databases. Draft and revise standard contract documents that are consistent with ACTIV’s policies and objectives. Route documents to appropriate parties for review and signature. Assist in identifying contractual milestones, tracking vendor and licensee contractual obligations, ensuring that all obligations are met within the contracted time frame. Work with finance department as required. Perform legal research as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree. ABA accredited paralegal certificate is preferred. Must have 1-3 years’ experience in all aspects of contract management within a corporation or law firm. Must be a careful reader and meticulous drafter of contract language. Should have strong written and verbal communication skills, including business writing. General knowledge of contract law and licensing law is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential. Previous experience in financial market data industry is desirable.
