Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Completed bachelor's degree with focus in Finance, Real Estate, or Business Management. Advanced degrees or certifications a plus but not required (MBA, JD, CFA or CAIA). Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience as an analyst in an investment, finance, private equity, corporate finance or real estate related role. Positions such as but not limited to; Asset Manager, Residential Appraiser, Real Estate Investment Banking Analyst, Mortgage Sales/Underwriting, Financial Analyst, and Jr Analyst. Must have high degree of proficiency with Excel and an ability to create in-depth financial analyses via modeling. Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office applications including Word and PowerPoint. Should have strong grasp of financial principles and concepts critical to SFRH underwriting (NOI, cap rates, IRR, NPV, ROI, ROC, Yields, etc.). Should preferably have Strong grasp of financial concepts critical to Real Estate (IRR, NOI, Cap Rate, DCF, ROI etc). Experience in residential real estate markets including housing valuation is desired. Ability to rapidly analyze qualitative and quantitative information and accurately articulate conclusions and recommendations is preferred. Yardi & SalesForce familiarity, ARGUS is a plus.
