German Speaking Office Assistant - Full-Time or Part-Time

Siegwart German American Law has an immediate opening for an office assistant with native level German language skills. 

Your tasks will include filing and file maintenance, answering incoming phone calls in a professional manner, data entry, support attorneys and staff with miscellaneous office duties, as well as administrative correspondence with clients, courts, insurance companies, and government agencies.

Prior law firm experience is not required. We will train you.

We are looking for a quick learner who can comfortably handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. The nature of your tasks will require you to be organized, responsible and dependable. You need up to date computer and internet skills for office use. Attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines and work under time pressure are essential.

We provide a friendly office atmosphere and a positive, flexible work environment. Your workload will be diverse and interesting. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills, and feel close to Germany every day.

Our office is conveniently located off Highway 101 close to SFO in Burlingame (Millbrae Ave exit), very close to Bart (free shuttle service) and public transportation. Free parking on site. This is not a telecommuting position.

Compensation is based on skills and performance and subject to review after a 90 days. Applications must include resume, cover letter, and salary requirements. Cover letter must be in German.
