Term Law Clerk The Honorable Judge Christian J Moran The law clerk acts as the special master's liaison to the parties. Will assist the Special Master with all judicial duties. Scope of duties include: assisting with deciding cases and writing decisions regarding entitlement, damages, and attorneys' fees; preparing orders for the Special Master's review and signature; assisting at evidentiary hearings; researching procedural and substantive questions; conducting functions related to the court's Case Management / Electronic Case Filing system; speaking with counsel and litigants; and keeping monthly statistics about disposition of cases. Should have a J.D. degree. People with a background in medicine and/or biology are especially encouraged to apply. Should preferably have class standing in Top 33%. Prior judicial clerkship experience is desired. Clerkship Term: September 4, 2018 to September 4, 2020. Interview Dates: June 1 to 15, 2018. Application Deadline: June 1, 2018.
