Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Senior Consumer Financial Services Litigation Associate Attorney with substantial experience in complex commercial litigation and defense of financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in class actions and regulatory enforcement actions and be familiar with relevant federal and state laws.

Duties:

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation related to consumer financial services.
• Defend financial institutions in class actions and regulatory enforcement actions.
• Advise clients on compliance with the Truth in Lending Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Equal Opportunity Credit Act.
• Interpret and apply federal and state laws governing unfair, deceptive, and abusive acts and practices.
• Develop litigation strategies and prepare legal briefs, motions, and other court documents.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients to provide strategic legal counsel.
• Manage and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.
• Stay updated on legal developments and changes in consumer financial services regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Proven track record in defending financial institutions, emphasizing class actions and regulatory enforcement.
• In-depth knowledge of consumer financial services laws and regulations.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Active Bar license in CO, CA, or PA preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in one or more states: CO, CA, or PA preferred.
