Assistant Paralegal Candidate will be onboarding clients by gathering proper documentation, such as credit reports, identification, proof of address, etc. Will be in charge of transferring their information into portal which gives them access to their updated case information, as well as allows the senior paralegal team to follow through with their legal work. Will assure a smooth transition from the sales department to the clients assigned paralegal. Will be going over their credit issues and notating each negative item and their reason for disputing. Will be importing all the negative items into “Admin†program prior to handing them off to the case manager. Will have all their information collected to assure their case is managed effectively. Critical for the success of their credit repair case. Will be one of the first interactions the client will have with company. Handling transfers from sales department. Gathering all necessary documentation from client. Entering clients information into system for the legal team. Making sure all letters are ready to be sent. Managing calendars for yourself and senior paralegals. Most calls are inbound and transferred by sales department. Outbound calling is accepted as needed. Calendaring is essential for the tracking and upkeep of future dates, calls, appointments, follow-ups, and case reviews. Will be required to handle data entry during the “Onboarding†and client intake process. Will be required when document preparation is needed to assist senior paralegals. Will be responsible for intaking time-sensitive information needed for the legal department to properly case manage. Majority of filing is performed via various software used by the office. There is also filing of hard copy forms and time-sensitive information received from the bureaus and creditors we challenge.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Impressive customer service skills are imperative for the first impression clients receive. Knowledge of computers and the ability to learn and navigate through several programs at a time. Ability to file both alphabetically and numerically is essential. In order to import information into the system in a timely fashion, a 35+ wpm, speed is desired. The ability to effectively call handle while multitasking, is critical. Knowledge in the critical nature of accurate calendaring.
