ProfileAssistant United States Attorney The candidate will be part of a team responsible for protecting the rights and interests of the American people by legal representation, enforcement of Federal laws, and defense of US interests. Will practice in the area of, among other things, civil recoveries in health care fraud, False Claims Act, and opioid cases. Must have a J.D. degree, be an active member of the Bar (any jurisdiction); and have 4+ years of post J.D. legal or relevant experience. Outstanding academic record; complex litigation experience involving white collar or civil litigation; exceptional research and writing ability; the ability to successfully represent the interest of the US in federal court; the ability to handle and successfully manage a heavy case load involving complex cases; three (3) or more jury trials preferred.
