Fall Governor’s Internship Program The intern will work alongside dedicated staff members in a challenging and rewarding environment. Internships cover a variety of disciplines ranging from graphic design to policy, communications to health care advocates, constituent services to marketing. During their tenure with state government, intern will gather for policy briefings, professional development, networking, and more. This series of lectures and interactive sessions will feature Governor’s Office senior staff, cabinet secretaries, policy directors, and an address from Governor Brownback. The Governor’s Internship Program is a select experience designed to give high-caliber college students the opportunity to understand the inner workings of state government and contribute to growing and improving the State of Kansas. Session runs September-December : Minimum 16 hours per week Deadline : September 15.
