Litigation Support Analyst Duties: Employ project management principles to manage all aspects of assigned projects (needs, assessment, workflow, communication plan creation, proposal development and recommendations, resource coordination, budget management, risk assessment, etc.). Hands-on management of litigation support databases, including workflow, creation, design, import/exporting, reporting and troubleshooting. Consult with case teams on litigation support technology, including software and fundamentals of litigation support. Manage internal and external relationships between CTS, assigned practice groups and outside vendors. Participate in ongoing development and implementation or improved processes and procedures.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Completion of an Associateâ€™s degree, business school or related professional program; paralegal degree/certificate or four-year degree preferred. 1-2 years of experience with Relativity platform version 8.5 or higher required. Completion of the Relativity Certification Administrator (RCA) and/or Certified Specialist in E-Discovery (CEDS) preferred but not required. 3+ years of experience as a litigation support professional or litigation technologist within a law firm or vendor . Demonstrated strong proficiency with litigation support tools and techniques, document review, imaging/image manipulation and/or trial technology software applications (such as Axcelerate, Relativity, LAW, Sanction, Case Notebook, etc.). In-depth understanding of methods and requirements of legal discovery and research, practices of e-discovery handling, imaging, coding, review and production; this includes working knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. If not acquired, complete and pass the RCA within 18 months of hire date. All materials, study guide and curriculum will be provided by the firm. Strong commitment to client service. Cooperation and the ability to collaborate in a team, including cross-office. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to problem solve and use sound judgment. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing requirements.
