Litigation Paralegal The candidate will check cites, quotes, exhibit references, etc. and proofread complaints, briefs and other court filings. Oversee filing and service of court documents. Oversee service of summons and complaint and filing of proofs of service. Prepare subpoenas and discovery notices with information provided by attorney. Oversee service of subpoenas and discovery documents. Organize documents produced by defendants and third parties and keep various charts of discovery propounded, and documents, deposition transcripts and exhibits received. Schedule depositions with court reporter with information provided by attorney. Should have 2-10 years Paralegal experience. College degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program is essential. Should have experience with computer software and web-based programs, including, for example, Word, Excel, Adobe, Lexis, Westlaw, Summation, Relativity and Edgar.
