Litigation / Commercial Paralegal The candidate must have 2+ years related experience and/or training. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Must have exceptional time management skills, the ability to effectively prioritize work/projects and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, as well as be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities and accommodate rush requests. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe Acrobat is required. Responsibilities for the position include: Maintaining and managing litigation cases including calendar and tracking deadlines; Drafting pleadings, discovery, settlement agreements, contracts, deeds and claims of lien; Redlining documents; Drafting business formation documents and file business documents with the Secretary of State; Draft correspondence; Ensure proper filing and service of process of legal documents in various counties; Create, maintain and organize new and existing client files; Respond to and assist clients by answering questions, providing information and assuring appropriate follow-through and/or resolution and perform legal research including title and judgment searches.
