Manager-Properties Sourcing-Commercial Transactions The candidate through procurement, strategic sourcing, negotiation, contracting and category management as part of company Indirect Sourcing team, will help reduce company total cost of ownership and mitigate our risk by using effective strategies, tools and processes for acquiring products and services that support stores. This position is highly visible, cross-functional, and will interact across the company, including officers. Manage the sourcing/contracting for Properties (Store, Corporate, Distribution Centers) related products and services in categories ranging from asset protection, maintenance, energy and materials. Develop and influence sourcing and contracting strategies and determine the best approaches, tools and methodologies for each project. Leverage tools, policies and relationships to help educate internal clients on best sourcing practices to achieve optimal results. Mitigate and manage company risk by negotiating effective contracts. Partner closely the broader Procurement organization and with other cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of a consistent customer experience utilizing key sourcing, contracting and compliance processes. Collaborate with and influence clients in developing a sourcing strategy, based on total cost of ownership, to achieve the best short-term and long-term outcomes for company. High degree of influence throughout company. Support business partnerships in execution of the company company roadmap initiatives. Provide an experience that enhances and reflects culture, mission and values.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 4-year Bachelors degree program. Should have 4+ years of end-to-end sourcing process experience including analysis, RFPs, negotiation and contracting OR 4+ years of experience working as an attorney with commercial transactions (inclusive of drafting, redlining and negotiating contracts to reduce business risk. Must be skilled at creating/executing a sourcing strategy. In addition, demonstrated effectiveness in end-to-end sourcing process including analysis and negotiation. Will also leverage their proficiency in contracting that defines requirements, optimizes deal structure, and is scalable. Should be a skilled negotiator and communicator with a determined, respectful and courteous style that is consistent with company values. We are looking for someone who can develop and grow relationships inside and outside the organization. In addition, the ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, is forward-thinking, progressive, and has a track record of significant contributions in previous roles. Should have demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships.
