Paralegal The candidate will assist with a wide variety of corporate legal matters including commercial contracts and business transactions, corporate management and record keeping, employment matters, real estate, intellectual property and litigation/disputes. Provide litigation support including discovery requests with respect to various litigation matters. Maintain corporate governance requirements, including corporate filings, board minutes and related activities of the board of directors. Review real estate contracts, closing documents and maintain corresponding files. Assist with the development, roll-out, training and administration of company policies and related compliance programs. Work with Legal and Sourcing teams to prepare and review various legal documents, such as contracts, amendments, form templates, amendments, and maintain the company s contract database. Work with Marketing and E-commerce teams to review marketing collateral, including promotional terms and conditions, sweepstakes, and similar marketing activities. Create Purchase Orders and manage all Legal invoices. Scan and email vendor creation or amendment documents to firm International Global Master Data. Maintenance of all legal contracts and files. Provide administrative support for General Counsel as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards of firm.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 2-5 years of corporate, real estate and litigation paralegal experience. Should have Bachelor s Degree. Paralegal certification is desired. In-house corporate experience is preferred. Advanced IT skills with experience and knowledge in MS Word, and Outlook with ability to master new software packages is needed. Notary Public certification preferred or to be obtained. Ability to read, analyze & interpret legal contracts and real estate leases is must. Experience in presenting information in a report or business correspondence format is needed. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, systems and records is required. Advanced IT skills with experience and knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PP and Outlook is essential.
