The Candidate will be responsible to act as the single point of contact for the case team, eDiscovery department, IS and vendors. Consult with case teams to assess and support technology needs throughout all stages of litigation process. Develop recommendations, plans, cost estimates, budgets, procedures and specifications for case-specific projects• Provide consultation and project management services to case teams regarding database design and e-discovery workflow, including guidance on the use of technology assisted review (“TAR”) and data analytics; plan and track matter timelines, milestones and dependencies using appropriate tools and reports. Interact with client’s General Counsel and IT department to identify potential relevant data sources and execute plan to collect from these sources. Provide case teams with guidance and recommendations regarding the selection of outside vendors; liaison between the case team and vendor throughout the project. Provide consultation on trial support services to case teams, on-site and courtroom technology, on-site support and trial presentation services. Provide litigation and eDiscovery guidance on best practices, tools, techniques, roles and responsibilities; stays current and advises case teams on cutting edge data minimization solutions including the use of TAR technologies and data analytics. Support RFP pricing, budgeting, staffing and margin analysis. Assist with drafting and submitting budget proposals and staffing plans; recommend subsequent budget and staffing changes where necessary; ensure that all project deliverables are accurate and timely; track and analyze actual matter costs against budget and proactively address budget variances. Work on billable substantive and technology matters as necessary. Monitor staffing mix and levels on a weekly basis to ensure work is on budget. Develop and provide technology related training and document review workflow processes to case teams. Build relationships and foster a collaborative approach to working with internal clients across practice groups and with management. Comply with department and firm administrative procedures and policies. Assist with firm and departmental projects as needed and perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA also preferred with 5+ years of law firm paralegal experience, some supervisory experience preferred or 3+ years of eDiscovery and case management experience required and have strong supervisory skills required. Understand, adhere to and maintain the department’s Paralegal Competencies.
