Duties:

  • Manage and oversee various debt transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, asset-based loan facilities, working capital facilities, subordinated loans, equipment leasing facilities, and acquisition financings.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation primarily to borrowers involved in complex financial transactions.
  • Advise clients on legal matters related to out-of-court insolvency or restructuring transactions, if applicable.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis, draft legal documents, and negotiate terms on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in leveraged and banking finance with a strong focus on borrower representation.
  • Superior academic credentials from a recognized law school.
  • Proven experience representing borrowers in various debt transactions, demonstrating a deep understanding of the legal intricacies involved.
  • Familiarity with out-of-court insolvency or restructuring transactions is advantageous.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with or interest in technology and life sciences sectors is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
