ProfileParaprofessional The candidate will provide legal and administrative support to the family law forensic accounting department as well as other areas within our forensic services team. Manage the practice of the assigned Director. Manage discovery documents using proprietary paperless software. Maintain good relationships with clients and attorneys. Assist in preparation of exhibits for trials, depositions and hearings. Prepare discovery responses. Manage project assignments. Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars and oversee deadlines. Supervise billing and assist with receivables. Assess potential conflicts of interest related to prospective clients. Keep comprehensive files and maintain documents neatly. Prepare engagement letters. Complete additional projects as needed. Answer phones, take messages, copy/scan documents and prepare mail for delivery. Handle a variety of situations involving the administrative functions of the Firm. Provide coverage support for other administrative staff. Must have 5+ years of experience in a paralegal/legal administrative role. Should have prior experience working in a professional services firm. Bachelor’s Degree completed or in process is needed. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills is must. Excellent typing skills and computer literacy including a solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel is needed. Proficiency to focus on details, handle multiple tasks and remain highly organized is essential. Fluency in Spanish is needed.
