ProfileFall Internship The Program is designed to provide students with a first-hand experience in the inner workings of a Congressional office that cannot be replicated in a classroom environment. The interns may be asked to do a variety of things, including day-to-day office work such as answering phones, writing letters and assisting with media clips. In addition, interns may be assigned to assist in various constituent case work or work on District-based projects of importance. College students are considered. Should have notable academic and extracurricular achievements, leadership potential and a strong writing ability. Should be interested in gaining hands-on experience in a Congressional office learning about issues that are important to Kentucky and the US. The district intern hours are will vary to accommodate students' hectic course schedules.
