Senior Paralegal, Business And Legal Affairs Must have strong people and project management abilities and must be able to take and follow instruction and execute tasks using their skills, experience and good judgment. The candidate provides a full range of paralegal functions, with a focus on intellectual property rights administration, licensing, music, film / television and technology, and reports directly to the Senior Counsel of Business & Legal Affairs for the Celebrity and Entertainment division. Will review, negotiate and draft, and/or assist the departmentâ€™s attorneys in reviewing and drafting, many of the following agreements, among others: long and short form trademark and copyright license agreements for both products and services, synch licenses, clip licenses, musical composition licenses, permission agreements, shopping agreements, work made for hire agreements, term sheets, deal sheets, option agreements, representation agreements, vendor agreements, and sponsorship/endorsement agreements. Assist in-house and outside counsel with ongoing general matters for the Celebrity and Entertainment division, as required in the day-to-day functioning of the Company and the Legal Department. Should have 5+ years of experience (preferably with in-house experience) in copyright/trademark licensing and/or entertainment law practice, including some or all of the following: merchandise, music, television and/or film. Bachelorâ€™s Degree required, Paralegal Certificate or a Four-year Paralegal Degree preferred. Must have proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Apple computers and Internet research. English fluency is required.
