Duties

  • Negotiate and draft complex commercial leases for landlords and tenants.
  • Negotiate and draft purchase and sale agreements and related documents for both sellers and buyers.
  • Represent developers in negotiating and drafting agreements for real estate developments.
  • Represent borrowers in mortgage loan transactions.
  • Manage real estate due diligence for sale, purchase, financing, and corporate transactions involving real estate.
  • Oversee the closing of real estate sale, purchase, and financing transactions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of transactional real estate experience with a demonstrated ability to independently handle core real estate tasks.
  • Significant experience in negotiating and drafting complex commercial leases.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent academic background.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active attorney license in at least one . jurisdiction.
  • Ability to promptly gain admission to the Minnesota Bar.

Skills

  • Expertise in transactional real estate matters, including commercial leasing, purchase and sale agreements, and real estate development.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
