A law firm seeks an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join its growing team in Naples, FL. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, handle a variety of complex estate planning and probate matters, and grow professionally within the firm. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in estate planning, probate, and tax law, with the ability to manage client relationships and engage in both advisory and litigation work as needed.
Duties
- Draft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Advise clients on tax planning, asset protection, and Florida homestead laws.
- Manage probate and trust administration processes, including legal research and drafting of necessary filings.
- Guide fiduciaries and beneficiaries on their legal rights and responsibilities.
- Handle dispute resolution and court proceedings related to estates and trusts.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring timely and accurate updates on their cases.
- Collaborate with local professionals and networks to expand client base and enhance service offerings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in estate planning, probate administration, and trust law.
- Ability to provide legal advice on estate taxes, asset protection, and other related matters.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex estate matters from start to finish.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain client relationships and work effectively with others.
- High level of organization and time management to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Board Certification in Wills, Trusts, and Estates Law is a plus.
