Paralegal Intern (Summer) The candidate will be supporting the litigation paralegal on the San Gabriel Valley Workers’ Rights Project and assisting with other administrative duties, including: Reviewing and summarizing articles on relevant topics; Conducting interviews to gather information for litigation; Creating content for ethnic media publication (e.g., profiles on staff and community leaders); Translating media/articles from English to Chinese; Reviewing and analyzing documents produced during discovery in litigation matters; Some related administrative tasks, including data entry (e.g., for calculating damages in active cases), scanning, and creating informational packets for community workshops. Must have strong research and writing skills; prior experience conducting interviews; and attention to detail with a strong work ethic and a demonstrated commitment to public interest work, civil rights, and community empowerment. Diverse upper level college students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Bilingual ability in English and Mandarin is highly preferred. Bilingual ability in English and any other Asian language also preferred.
