Duties:
- Manage all aspects of family law cases, including litigation, mediation, settlement discussions, and negotiation.
- Represent clients in contested and uncontested divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and financial support issues.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and orders.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to formulate case strategies.
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediation sessions.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, ensuring they are updated throughout the process.
- Work collaboratively with the legal team to develop effective case strategies and secure favorable outcomes for clients.
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in Nevada with good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
- 2-5 years of experience in family law (courtroom and litigation experience preferred).
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Trial experience and willingness to litigate when necessary.
- Experience in handling high-asset divorces and complex custody cases is a plus.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
