This role focuses on representing community associations in plaintiff's foreclosure cases, similar to mortgage foreclosures. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in foreclosure law and be motivated to grow within the firm, with a partnership track available for the right individual.

Duties

• Draft legal documents related to foreclosure cases, including Lis pendens, summons, and complaints.
• Prepare and oppose motions associated with foreclosure proceedings.
• Maintain client communication, providing regular updates and legal advice.
• Appear in court for foreclosure-related hearings and motions.
• Handle correspondence regarding assigned cases.
• Work with clients to develop legal strategies and ensure effective case management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage or foreclosure law.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational and case management abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
