A law firm in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Managed Care Litigation Associate Attorney. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, with a focus on managed care or health care. The role demands excellent academic credentials and strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills. The attorney will manage multiple cases, oversee regulatory and compliance matters, and serve as the primary point of contact for litigation and client counseling.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and litigate cases involving managed care and health care issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing legal advice and coordination.
• Handle regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft detailed legal documents and pleadings.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide significant case management and client counseling.
• Coordinate with other associates and staff to ensure effective case management and client service.
• Stay informed on changes in laws and regulations relevant to managed care and health care.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing of the California State Bar.
• 2-3 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.
• Experience in managed care or health care is required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and regulatory or compliance matters.
• Strong skills in client counseling and case management.
