Paralegal Specialist, GS 7 Duties: Ensure all medical care recovery claims are fully developed, adjudicated and ready for assertion Contact injured parties and law enforcement agencies to verify information to ensure accuracy of data and to ascertain parties and representatives. Assist Attorneys with tort liability investigations and related processing concerning claims asserted against the Military Treatment Facility.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Must have 1 year of specialized experience which includes work that involves reviewing formal complaints, identifying issues involved, and obtaining the information and documentation needed to prepare the case for analysis and development by other paralegal specialists or professional staff; and/or analyzing documents for supportive evidence, organizing findings, and writing synopses for use by an attorney.


Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
