Triage Project Coordinating Attorney
The candidate will act as a liaison with pro bono attorneys, provide materials for continuing legal education, schedule clients for clinics, screen intakes to ensure quality information, assign cases to pro bono attorneys, monitor case progress and supply support during representation. Provide court representation when needed, ensure that all necessary data is captured. Report, evaluate and provide recommendations on improving Triage. Admission to the Virginia State Bar, and experience representing clients in court, are highly desirable. Need written and oral advocacy skills and ability to work independently in fast paced environment. Prior experience in public interest and poverty work is desirable. Must have strong commitment to equal justice.
