ProfileCounty Counselor The candidate will provide support for, share knowledge and pitch in to help on handling the work of the Office of the County Counselor so that all of the work of the office is addressed in a timely and professional manner. Will be responsible for assisting the County Counselor and Chief Deputy County Counselors, at their direction, in the performance of legal work. Handles legal matters of the most critical importance to the County, which are to be carried out independently to a final conclusion subject to the supervision of the County Counselor and/or Chief Deputy County Counselors. Must have a Juris Doctorate degree, be a member of the Missouri Bar. Should have 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in municipal, and civil or criminal law.
