Corporate Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for corporate maintenance and other related projects. Will assist with all aspects of document production, document management, and legal database management. Assist with incorporation/formation of entities, including qualifications, amendments, withdrawals, mergers and dissolutions of US and international subsidiaries. Perform general corporate legal administrative tasks such as maintaining minute books and other records of US and international subsidiaries. Draft certifications, affidavits, incumbencies, and powers of attorney. Assist with internal reorganization transactions and the review of various agreements, resolutions and certifications. Work with Business Units, attorneys and paralegal staff in responding to legal information requests.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have an Associate's degree from an accredited institution. Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited institution is required. Should preferably have 1-2 years of experience as a corporate paralegal. Experience with entity tracking database management is required. Basic knowledge of corporate and general law is needed. Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and be able to learn other software programs quickly. Should have ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
