Job Overview:
A reputable law firm based in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join its team. The attorney will be responsible for managing a variety of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, and PIP arbitrations. This role involves working closely with paralegals and legal assistants to provide exceptional client service, ensuring case progression from intake to resolution.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury matters such as auto accidents, slip and fall cases, and PIP arbitrations.
• Manage and supervise a team of paralegals and case managers assigned to your cases.
• Conduct client consultations and provide expert legal advice.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Handle a diverse caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed of progress.
• Oversee cases from start to finish, ensuring optimal client outcomes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and current admission to the New Jersey State Bar.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-management skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced workload and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• High level of professionalism and a strong commitment to client confidentiality.

Education:

• JD (Juris Doctor) degree from an accredited law school.
• New Jersey State Bar admission is required.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in New Jersey.

Skills:

• Personal injury law expertise (auto accidents, slip and fall, PIP arbitrations, etc.).
• Strong legal writing and drafting skills.
• Effective team leadership and case management.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative setting.
