Legal Assistant, Temporary, Contract Responsibilities: Prepare and process court filings, serves, ex partes. Trial calendaring. Arrange meetings, hearings and depositions. Client and expert contact and correspondence. Maintain client documents in physical and electronic files.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Degree in law or certification in Paralegal; 1-5 years experience in a Family Law firm preferred. Knowledge of Family Law local rules, forms, and procedures; Some litigation experience preferred. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Corel Word Perfect and Excel. Bilingual (English/Chinese); Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to details and full circle follow through. Reliable, multitasking, organized and able to think independently. Enjoy working in a small family like environment and get along well with attorneys and others. Computer and software savvy. Professional appearance and demeanor.
