Paralegal Responsibilities: Managing and/or participating in all aspects of real property acquisition and disposition, including contract review, title and survey review and other due diligence. Managing and drafting formation documents for real estate-owning entities. Participating in the analysis and oversight of land use, entitlement, zoning and permitting matters. Participating in the oversight of various insurance claims and related matters arising from the company’s operations. Participating in the oversight of various litigation arising from the company’s operations. Coordinating the completion of legal activities throughout the company internally and amongst outside counsel. Conducting effective management of outside attorneys and other third-party service providers.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and accompanying Paralegal Certificate. 5 years of real estate experience working for a law firm or government agency. Condo documentation preparation and management. Demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:. Excellent writing, editing, contract drafting and oral advocacy skills. Superior consulting, analytical and problem-solving abilities. Extremely responsive and a collaborative team player. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple, high priority projects in a highly demanding environment. Hands-on, energetic and motivated self-starter. Excellent judgment and common sense. A practical, business-oriented approach to solving problems.
