Company Profile

Tycko & Zavareei LLP is one of the nation’s premier plaintiff-side litigation firms, with offices in Washington, D.C. and Oakland, California.  We handle large, complex and impactful cases in the areas of consumer rights, employee rights, civil rights, antitrust and others.  In addition, we represent corporate whistleblowers in qui tam cases under the False Claims Act, and under other similar whistleblower statutes.  We hire only the best attorneys with top credentials, and greatly value prior experience at a large defense-side firms, as a judicial law clerk, or with the Department of Justice or U.S. Attorneys Offices.  Our firm offers immediate opportunities for significant case responsibility, and also offers all of our attorneys, even the most junior, a platform to develop their own cases and practices.  And, although we go toe-to-toe with the biggest defense firms in the country, we offer a different lifestyle.  We want our attorneys to enjoy their lives outside of the firm.  We have very reasonable billable hours requirements, and we put the emphasis on the quality, rather than the quantity, of our work.
