Litigation - Insurance

Attorney - Property Damage Claims The candidate will manage a large caseload of property insurance claims pre-litigation and in litigation. Will draft substantive motions and pleadings and responses thereto. Will also be responsible for: discovery, hearings, depositions, negotiating settlements, mediation, client consultations, and EUOs.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 2+ years of civil litigation experience preferably in property insurance litigation or another type of insurance litigation. Should have strong, persuasive oral advocacy and excellent writing skills. Must have extensive experience taking and defending depositions, handling motion practice and drafting complicated motions and legal memoranda in a clear and concise manner. Jury trial experience preferred. Experience in federal court is a plus. Knowledge and experience in civil litigation with a focus on first party property claims is needed. Should be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus.
